PE

Our staff like to learn new skills too!

PE & Games

During a regular week, the children have at least one indoor PE session and another outdoors. In addition to these lessons, the children have opportunities to play on the adventure playground and tyre park each week and to use the football and basketball zones at break and lunchtimes.

An example of the rota will be available soon

During lunchtimes, play leaders (supervised by an adult) run activities for the younger children.

We also run after school sporting / exercise activities and have links with both Reading Football Club and London Irish RFC.

PE Kit

We recommend that children bring in their PE kit on a Monday and take it home on a Friday. This way, they will always have their kit in school – for PE and after school activities - even if timetables change unexpectedly. Check the link to the side for PE days.

Children should have both an indoor and outdoor PE kit in school. This should include: Shorts, tracksuit bottoms, a plain t-shirt or polo shirt and pumps or trainers. In the summer, a hat is useful for outdoor PE and a sweatshirt, tracksuit top or similar is essential in the winter. Your child’s PE kit should be a complete change from their school uniform.

The team which remembers most of their kit each week will win the Golden Boot.

If you have any questions about PE kit, please do not hesitate to contact us.
