On Thursday 8th May the school will be holding a special VE Day celebration day to mark the end of the Second World War.

Red, White & Blue Day is a wonderful opportunity for students and staff to come together in honour of the 80th Anniversary of Victory in Europe (VE) Day on May 8th. Thameside will be showing our support by: 

Wearing Red, White, and Blue to school on this day– A fun way to display patriotism and commemorate this historic occasion. 

We kindly ask parents to donate £1 on the day to donate to the RBLI– Every contribution directly supports the vital work of Royal British Legion Industries (RBLI), assisting veterans, their families, and individuals in need. 

By taking part, your school will not only be helping those who have served our country but also giving students a valuable opportunity to learn about the significance of VE Day and the importance of community support.
